About the job
Hi! I am looking for a 3D/CAD designer to create realistic concept renders of a wearable medical eye-imaging headset.
This device looks similar to VR goggles externally, but internally it is not a display device. Instead, it contains:
A camera
A 90D ophthalmic-style lens
LED illumination
An angled mirror system
A compute board (Raspberry Pi sized)
Adjustable optical modules
This render must clearly show the optical light path in a side profile view.
What I Need Delivered
Exterior “Hero” Render
3/4 front angle
Clean medical-tech look (NOT gaming)
Matte black/dark gray
Face cushion + adjustable straps
Small USB-C port and power button
Slight thickness to show internal optics (not ultra slim)
Technical Side Profile Render (Very Important)
This must show a clear side cutaway diagram of one eye module.
The optical path should be shown like this:
Eye → 90D lens → angled mirror (45°) → camera sensor
LED illumination ring should surround the front lens.
Required Internal Components (Side View)
From back to front:
Compute board mounted toward rear of device
Camera module facing sideways
45-degree mirror redirecting light path
90D bio lens near eye opening
LED ring around lens
Adjustable rail mechanism allowing lens distance to move forward/back
Sliding rail system allowing IPD adjustment (left-right movement)
Light path should be visually indicated with a faint beam line.
Optional (Preferred...

Optional (Preferred)
Exploded view showing:
Outer shell
Face cushion
Dual optical modules
PCB
Battery pack (side pod or rear strap)
Critical Design Requirements
This is an imaging device, not a display headset.
There should be NO internal screens.
The device must look manufacturable.
Optical components must look aligned and physically realistic.
The mirror must clearly redirect the light path.
