Job Description
We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer / machine designer to develop the complete technical design and manufacturing drawings for a grain packaging machine (vertical form-fill-seal type – VFFS).
The objective is to obtain a fully manufacturable machine design, including all mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and technical documentation required for fabrication.
Project Scope
Design a semi-automatic or automatic grain packaging machine capable of:
Packaging rice, sugar, lentils, seeds, or similar dry grains
Filling range: 5g to 250g
Target speed: 50 bags per minute
Accuracy: ±1%
Bag type: Pillow bag (PE or laminated roll film)
Film width: To be defined during design
Deliverables Required
The freelancer must provide:
Complete 3D Design
Full 3D CAD model (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
All sub-assemblies properly structured
Manufacturing Drawings
Detailed 2D fabrication drawings (PDF + DWG/STEP)
Tolerances and dimensions
Material specifications
Surface finishing indications
Mechanical Systems Design
Frame structure
Film unwinding system
Forming tube & collar
