The objective is to provide simulation-ready 3D models optimized for real-time virtual commissioning in Unity.
Models shall not represent manufacturing CAD level of detail.
They shall represent functional, kinematic, and collision-relevant geometry only.
Input: highly detailed STEP (STP) or Autodesk Inventor model
Output: optimized simulation model for VC in a continuous production process
The models will be used for real-time virtual commissioning in Unity for a continuous production process. The purpose is functional simulation (PLC logic, motion, collision, sensor behavior) — not visual rendering or manufacturing detail.
