Residential Permit Drawings – CAD Drafter Needed (Connecticut) Ended

We are seeking a freelance CAD Drafter / Architectural Designer to prepare a permit-ready residential drawing set for a small residential project in Trumbull, Connecticut (Fairfield County). The design concept, layout, and existing drawings are already finalized and have been reviewed by the town; this role focuses on updating, refining, revising, and formatting drawings to meet local Connecticut building department permit requirements, not conceptual design. The scope includes preparing scaled existing and proposed floor plans, adding required dimensions and notes, ensuring code compliance, and producing any required elevations, sections, or details. The final deliverable is a complete PDF permit-ready drawing set, including revisions as needed for approval. The design drawings are attached for reference, along with the property survey and a few existing (“as-is”) photos to support accuracy. Candidates should have experience with residential CAD drafting, familiarity with U.S. and Connecticut residential codes (Fairfield County preferred), proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software, strong communication skills, and the ability to incorporate feedback; ability to visit the site if required is a plus but not mandatory.
