About the job
I need an experienced mechanical engineer to review a container shaped toy concept in CAD and identify any mechanical-safety risks before I move into prototyping. The product is silicone, injection-moulded, with one main hollow part. You must be able to spot hazards and suggest design changes that make the product safer and compliant with EN 71-1 (or similar toy-safety standards).
This is a small job, but accuracy matters. I’m an independent inventor working with a limited budget, so I need someone who can give clear, practical feedback without over-engineering it.
