About the job
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced CAD professional/educator/or student to provide one-on-one instruction in the fundamentals of CAD. This is a short-term, flexible engagement — a few hours per week for approximately 1-2 months. . The position may expand into project-based work and potentially a full-time role depending on performance and fit.
Responsibilities:
• Guide the learner through real-world examples relevant to product and fashion manufacturing applications.
• Recommend tools, plugins, and workflow best practices for efficient CAD design.
• (Optional) Support upcoming design projects once training is complete.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD,
• Strong understanding of CAD design fundamentals, file management, and output
• Excellent communication and patience in working with professionals new to CAD.
• Availability for 2–4 hours per week in-person (to begin with) in Tucson, AZ area)
Compensation:
Hourly, commensurate with experience.
