We are currently developing a non shut-off pneumatic pulse tool, and are looking for a freelance mechanical design engineer in Japan experienced in pneumatic system and tool design.
⚙️ Project Overview:
We require mechanical and pneumatic design support for the pulse unit of a non shut-off pulse tool. The goal is to develop a reliable and efficient pulse mechanism that delivers controlled torque while minimizing reaction forces.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
Design and model the pulse unit mechanism (rotor, blades, pulse chamber, oil sealing system).
Optimize design for durability, efficiency, and consistent torque output.
Assist in component material selection and manufacturability improvements.
Prepare 2D/3D CAD drawings (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or equivalent).
Collaborate on performance testing and design iterations.
Provide engineering documentation and technical reports.

Strong background in mechanical and pneumatic tool design.
Experience designing pulse tools, air motors, or hydraulic systems preferred.
