Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced CAD Pre-Sales Technical Consultant to support our North America Sales Teams by demonstrating ACTCAD’s capabilities and directly influencing purchase decisions. This role is ideal for a technically proficient CAD professional who excels at understanding client requirements and translating them into compelling product demonstrations and tailored solutions.

Time Commitment & Compensation
• Part-time consulting role: ~5-8 hours per week (flexible, based on project needs).
• Hours may vary depending on the sales pipeline, demo requests, and client engagement.
• Compensation: Competitive consulting fee; to be discussed based on experience and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Support & CAD Demonstrations
• Deliver high-impact CAD demos showcasing 2D drafting, 3D modeling, file compatibility, and automation features to prospective clients.
• Customize demos to address specific client needs in architecture, mechanical design, civil engineering, and manufacturing.
Customer Engagement
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand prospective client CAD requirements and help in positioning ACTCAD to meet the client needs.
• Assist in mapping client requirements to ACTCAD features, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Follow up on demos with technical feedback, when needed.

Ideal Candidate
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, ZW Cad, G-Star, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and rendering workflows.
• Prior experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, or CAD training is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver engaging demos that simplify complex concepts for clients.
