We're looking for experienced Solar Designers to join our team on a contract basis. If you have a strong understanding of solar design principles, experience with Aurora Solar, and proficiency in CRM tools like Zoho, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Create accurate and efficient solar system designs using Aurora Solar.
Analyze roof layouts, shading, and system performance to optimize energy output.
Work with sales and operations teams to ensure design feasibility based on project requirements.
Maintain detailed design documentation and update records within our Zoho CRM system.
Ensure compliance with local solar regulations, building codes, and utility requirements.
Requirements:
Proven experience in solar design (residential and/or commercial).
Proficiency in Aurora Solar or similar solar design software.
Understanding of electrical layouts, shading analysis, and energy yield calculations.
Experience with Zoho CRM or similar project management tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with NEC code and local permitting requirements.
Knowledge of battery storage integration.
Prior experience working with solar EPCs, installers, or consultants.
