Electrical CAD Designer Job in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (full-time/onsite) Ended

We're looking to hire a site electrical designer/drafter who is experienced with electrical design of commercial new construction and renovations. Full job description
We want to hire an Electrical Designer who will be responsible for creating electrical designs used in a variety of projects, including light industrial and commercial constructions and renovations. Example projects are churches, schools, retail spaces, restaurants, amphitheaters, RV parks, etc. The job is located in Tuscaloosa, AL. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities include:
-Create, modify, and maintain electrical plans, diagrams, and drawings for various electrical systems and components using AutoCAD and Revit
-Develop and implement circuit designs, create wiring diagrams, specifications, and calculations for electrical systems

Electrical Designer Requirements
-A minimum of 3 years experience in designing electrical systems for commercial and light industrial new constructions and renovations
-Must be knowledgeable in electrical codes, regulations, and engineering principles.
-Proficient in AutoCAD to generate electrical plans.
-Must be familiar with current building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices to create efficient and compliant designs.
-Must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
-Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and proficiency with AutoCAD is required.
