About the job
We are looking for an experienced structural steel / BIM specialist who can read and interpret structural steel drawings and BIM/Revit information.
The main task is to identify the primary load-bearing steel structure, recognize the different steel profiles and mark/color-code the relevant steel members in Bluebeam Revu.
The marked information must be structured in such a way that we can export the quantities/ profile information from Bluebeam into our Excel calculation file.
This is not a structural design assignment. The steel structure has already been designed. We need someone who can accurately interpret the existing drawings and identify the correct structural steel members.
