I have been involved in the film and television industry of Southern California for over 20 years. I worked for a 3D modeling and animation software company based in San Diego, CA called Pixels Inc., maker of the Mac OS Pixels 3D suite of modeling, animation and rendering tools. Pixels also created the Tempest Renderer which used Total impact G4 multi-chip cards (up to 52 processors in a box about the size of a PC tower). While at Pixels, I worked with companies like Digital Domain, Industrial Light and Magic, and Apple Inc. (The software was a Mac only suite). I was also responsible for building software plugin installers and helping national and international customers with sales, installations, and general trouble shooting of both technical and creative natures. During that time, I also attended and graduated from the Art Institute of California with an Associate of Science in 3D, holding the distinction of receiving the "Best Portfolio" award for the class of 2001. Over the years, I have provided videography, editing, motion graphics, animation, 3D Product design, and design for 3D printing as a contract artist for many L.A. and Denver based post production facilities and other companies needing my skills.

I am a graduate architect that loves evverything about design. I love interior and urban design, jewelry making, dancing, listening to music and readind motivation books. I have experience in interior design and recently I have been a member of a team that designed a Montessori school in Greece. I worked both for the interior and detail construction for the project above. I run my own company with handmade jewelry and I also design logo and buissiness cards. I like to think of myself as proffessional and hardworking. I am friendly as needed with my coworkers and I give my best to create the best results for every project I am occupied with. Hello, My name is Yasiru Yapa Abeywardena. But I am well known among friends and in the fieldas Snow Kotiya. It is the name of my personal brand in CGI and Graphic Design Industry. I'm a 21-year-old 3D artist from Sri Lanka with a passion for creating stunning and engaging visuals. 24th September 1989 is when I was born, The only thing apart from sports that I took seriously was Art. The need to study and make a career out of my not-so-exciting life in Rajkot, the idea was simple, graduate and get a job. However I came to know about the existence of this wonderful place called IMAGE Institute of Animation spend the next 3 years learning design, Animation there, I graduated in Computer Application and after that get the specialization in animation film design and graphic-web design . Today after being in the profession for more than 4 years I see myself as an artist who practices design for a living.
