APPLICATION OF DISCRETE WAVELET TRANSFORM AND INNOVATIVE TREND ANALYSIS FOR RAINFALL TREND ANALYSIS IN GREATER CHENNAI CORPORATION, TN, INDIA. The research focused on the importance of understanding the uncertainties of rainfall patterns. And analyzed the effect of climate change-induced rainfall fluctuations on the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) using seasonal and annual rainfall data for over a period of 35 years. The data was extracted from the Center for Hydrometeorology and Remote Sensing (CHRS platform) and bias-corrected with a resolution of 0.040 degree. With the incorporation of the homogeneity test for a uniform and consistent data format, found the monotonically and non-monotonically increasing trend by innovative trend analysis and discrete wavelet transform. INTERNSHIPS: 1. National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli Research Internship - Structural Design Engineer • Directed comprehensive analysis of pre-engineered industrial steel building structure, employing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques. Utilized Abaqus CAE and STAAD Pro for detailed structural modelling and dynamics under diverse loading scenarios. Implemented steel structure design and detail for meticulous analysis. • Investigated design parameters' impact on PEB steel frame performance, emphasizing haunches' role in enhancing structural stability. Contributed to design modifications based on FEA results to enhance overall reliability. • Implemented advanced FEA techniques using Abaqus CAE and STAAD Pro, influencing the optimization approach for PEB steel frame designs.
