Description:
I am looking for someone to replicate the attached pin, or to create a close facsimile thereof. I am open to design suggestions; one of my ideas is to add three "X"s onto the pedestal of the dragon under the "IFGS"; perhaps as "xXx" or as three "X's of the same size with the center one raised at half the height of the other two "X"s. The pin is about 3 inches in height.

We need 10 of these items. They are Service Awards pins for the 30th anniversary of the IFGS (www.ifgs.org).

If you are willing and able to do this, I'd like a price quote and delivery schedule, please! We'd like the material to be silver, in a non-tarnish formulation if this is possible.

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

Sincerely,

Olan Knight

The Board likes this pin the best, but we'd like the FONT used for the "IFGS" and the "xXx" changed to either Old English Text (if possible) or to Times New Roman.

Can you send me an updated image file?

ON HOLD: This contest is on hold effective 21-MAY-2013 as I have made arrangements with a particular designer. Should the design created not be acceptable, I will re-open this contest.

Many Thanks,

Sadly, that is the only picture that I have of the 20 year pin.

Do you have any other picture or design that can be used to see more details on this? It's a bit hard to see all the details on the dragon due to silver reflecting...

Venus Box Mods
Hello, I am looking for someone to have the STL files converted into Fusion360 and some modifications made The original model is https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1559232 "The Venus box" I am looking to have the "cam" file modified so the base is a toothed cog that will be connected to a servo. the "cover_3" file to be modified to add a 'base plate' to the base of the cover 130mm*130mm , the idea is the cover will be the fixed part and the movement will come form the modified cam with the cog teeth
Celtic pocket watch
A 3d pendant in the shape of a pocket watch. It should come in two pieces, top and bottom. The radius shall be ca. 4 cm and the depth 1,8cm. There needs to be a 1,8 cm round hole in the top half, where a gem will be fitted. This case will be 3d printed in ceramic, so it is light enough to be carried around a ladies neck. The casing does not need to be closed, and it should follow Celtic knot designs. See attached for inspiration.
Dental Tool
Mass produced plastic tool for dental product. My immediate need, however is to have 3-D prints made for evaluation. I'd also like to use the same file for manufacturing. Plan of tool, logo file, detail of head and pic of possible diamond-pattern knurling grip attached.
Design an Extraordinary Cabinet Knob or Pull
I own Knobs.co, a retail cabinet hardware site. I want to manufacture a line of unique, 3D printed cabinet hardware. This contest is for the design for one cabinet knob or pull. However, should I find a designer whose work I like, there could be far more work following. The final knobs will be produced in metal. They will need to be strong enough for daily use, stunning to look at, and capable of being screwed into a cabinet, which means they should have a threaded screw hole capable of receiving an 8-32 screw. The knob diameter can be anywhere between 1 1/4 inches and 1 1/2 inches. Also, the final piece needs to be capable of being submitted directly to Shapeways, and conform to all of their criteria for strength, wall thickness, etc. I'm not a techie, so if I have to modify anything to upload it, the knob is never going to get made.
Ultrasound brain helmet
Hello, I work in a research lab at the University of Utah. We need to make a frame that can hold a patient's head in place while we image their brain with custom ultrasound transducers. We have designed the transducers and general shape of the brain helmet. We are seeking solutions to 1) mechanically holding the head in place and 2) making the frame as aesthetically pleasing as possible. All mechanisms for adjustment (i.e. extention/retraction) should be complete in the design i.e. functional. I attached the solidworks files and a very quick (and ugly) sketch of the general concept. This is just the first idea so please take this as a jumping-off point and feel free to be creative! Our one requirement is that one of the head fixation parts be a sliding piece over the middle of the head that fixes to the bride of the patient's nose (called the nasion).
