Hello,

I am looking for someone to have the STL files converted into Fusion360 and some modifications made
The original model is www.thingiverse.com/thing:1559232
"The Venus box"

I am looking to have the "cam" file modified so the base is a toothed cog that will be connected to a servo.
the "cover_3" file to be modified to add a 'base plate' to the base of the cover 130mm*130mm , the idea is the cover will be the fixed part and the movement will come form the modified cam with the cog teeth
Wants:
design details, this should be rather simple for someone skilled in Fusion 360
this model is to be 3d printed
Software:
  1. Autodesk Fusion 360
Additional Information
Some further details,
the servo will be an SG90, mounted to the base that the cover will be attached to further thought a mount would be ideal for the servo

Gears, I am not familiar with the best options and am open to suggestions, I am looking for a slow speed open and close, about 5 seconds (will be controlled from servo) so that should be taken into account.

Hi,
I'm proposing a design based on the fact that both the cam from the Venus box and the SG90 servo have a maximum displacement of 180°. Since there is no reduction or multiplication ratio needed for the servo to fully open and close the box, I attached the servo directly to the cam. This way, the system doesn't require any gears or pulleys to operate, thus reducing the amount of moving components and improving the reliability of the system. Concerning the 5 seconds opening time for the box, this can simply be done with the program. If you need an example of such program just let me know. Also feel free to contact me for any questions regarding the design.

Hi, I'm submitting a new idea that is driven 1:1 with a pulley. It uses a 2" ID O-ring. I also included the pulley that will mount to the servo horn. Any questions or comments please let me know. Thanks!

I thing the design for the servo mounted is really cool not to small and not too big, simple but strong! Please check the information on the rendering images attached and i also provided the 3D STEP Files to make you easier while checking the model. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to participate this contest. This is the result of my design. Using gears with a 1:2 ratio. The gear on the servo will be easy to install because I designed it so that it can be paired with the "horn" built-in accessories of the servo. If when printed using a 3d printer there is a size error, You can give me a message. I will provide the revision file for free if there is a revision.
The file I attached is STP. You can open and edit in fusin 360 easily.

"CAM" has been modified with a 32P 128T gear. "COVER" now has attached to it a 130x130mm plate. STEP files, which can be imported into Fusion360, are attached.

@Myz,
as long as i can import the files to 360 so I can edit them that is fine. Need to keep the scales the same etc.
i am only learning doing tutorials on how to use 360 at the moment.

2 ring designs for 3D printing/lost wax casting
looking to get the first 2 rings of my design recreated in CAD so i can get them 3D printed to be used in lost wax casting, the final products will be made of brass. RING 1: rectangle face with approx 28mm X 24mm with bart simpson engraving, in 2 sizes US10 (dia 19.84mm) and US8 (dia 18.19mm) RING 2: square face approx 14mm X 14mm with spider web engraving, in US6 (dia 16.51mm) and US8 (dia 18.99mm) each ring will need to have a sprue for casting, please see pictures provided. please see design sketches for rough idea of how they should look. i have included photos of other rings with a similar finish/engraving looking for someone that has some experience with 3D printing for casting but not essential, i also have more designs really to go for use on the same rings so would like to do more after these. this is the first time i have posted on anything like this so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. any software that can generate STL/STEP/IGES files should be ok price not set in stone either
CAD Design for Four Simple 3D Mathematical Functions
Hi there, I am planning to do some 3D project that needs to be printed by a 3D printer. In order to do so, I need to first have a CAD file of my 3D objects/figures, and I have no clue how to do the CAD design by myself. So, this is why I am reaching out to you. Speaking of the project that I have in mind and now actually ready on papers, I would say that I need someone who is able to design the CAD files of four 3-dimentional mathematical functions (very simple 3D planes/surfaces which are supposed to be placed in a cubic framework which is 10*10*10cm^3 in size) with some certain specifications (colors, thicknesses, etc.) that I have already decided about and everything in form of a 2D version is on papers right now. To be honest, although my project is pretty straightforward, I want it to be done very carefully and professionally. I just need someone who is expert enough and patient enough to make a nice professional CAD file for me. I have roughly one week to get this project done, and everything with that should be done by Friday 23rd. However, the sooner, the better! I will await your replies. Best, Ali

Hey Cad Crowd! Got another project for the personal jewelry collection I'd like done. Trim Scissors as a necklace pendant. Trim Scissors? Yes, Trim Scissors. I work in the Colorado Cannabis industry and a sign of good times to come is trim scissors. Nothing more satisfying than sitting down at a table and manicuring your hard work after busting backside for several months. So I'd like to make a scale version that will work as a necklace pendant with some Tritium vials in the handle portion for additional cool factor.

I need a cool looking "coin", 52mm diameter, 4-5mm high, but hollow (because it's half the coin really, I have the other half done), with a 1mm edge all around, hollow cavity 50mm inside the edge and 2 mm high, leaving 2mm for the face which can be embossed like a real coin. It needs to be printable on a hobby printer with .4mm nozzle
