Description:
- we'd like to design the most powerful panic button in the world
- It will be attached to a keychain / purse / phone and trigger a help response from your phone via bluetooth
- once pressed, a drone will be sent to you in under 5 minutes to help responders triage this situation
- we want to minimize accidental triggers while making it easy for someone who needs help to quickly get it.
Wants:
- Simplicity is key; women in cities and elderly people should find the design and usage intuitive.
- It should feel powerful to hold in your hand and carry with you on your purse, keychain, etc.

Light - Could we see how this would work with two light modes? Maybe a blue light to indicate it is in an inactive but ready to use state (connected to app and charged) and a red light (out of battery life, not charged, not connected to app).

@escapeart. I have similar apprehensions. IMO in panic situations, I want it to work simple and fast. However, we are not the ones with the capital(cash) investment in the project. So I will submit my design, and a version incorporating what was asked of us. Just my humble 2 cent opinion.

Hi, panic button...for panic situations...in some cases discretion necessary...muggings etc...maybe a light not a good idea...instead for inactive state an internal continuos beep might be more effective which alerts user to the inactive status. Button covering also detrimental in panic situations as will cause fumbling with a person who is desperate....my thoughts

These submissions keep betting better. Would be great to see devices that have a removable/slidable cases to make pressing the button feel more powerful. Also feel free to consider using an "!" and the color red on the button.

Great submissions so far. We'll give extra weight to designs that use a single button and incorporate a light. The light should have two states:
- Healthy state (connected and active)
- Not healthy state (disconnected from device, account subscription inactive, etc.)

how many buttons it should be on the device (such as on/off etc), do u need usb port for charging, any other port or sound holes, do u need led light (indicate device is on/off and connected to bluetooth)

- Fixed battery with charge port would be the preference

@Chaniago / @Larineu
- We don't have dimension specs but it should fit comfortably in your hand
- In terms of colors, we like the idea of incorporating a blue light (perhaps around the button)? and would consider black, blue, red, and white as viable options for design
- you can leave space for a logo but we don't indent to share one just yet

- yes we are open to other 3d software if you have a preference

To limit false buttons
- you can put a cover over the button that needs to be lifted to trigger it, yo
- we can also require a press and hold interactions (think hold for 2-3 seconds)

Per dimensions:
I attached an image of a design we are considering, its dimensions are 38mmx38mx5.5mm. We are open to alternative dimensions as well

Ring Mouse Charging Dock
Inviting concept design for a charging cradle for a ring mouse. AirPoint mouse is a finger-wearable bluetooth ring mouse. A user can slide the finger across a surface to get mouse cursor movement. It can also be used as an air mouse by moving finger in space. After use, this device needs to be docked in a charging cradle to recharge the battery and also for safe storage. Seeking designs for a charging dock for this device. See the attached picture and stp file for the reference dimension of the finger-wearable unit. Note that the finger-wearable unit has a magnetic connector that attaches to a magnetic connector in the charging PCB board.
