The item we will evaluate is a quick detach multi caliber suppressor. 1. Design a flash hider that will act as the security system to quick attach and detach. It should enhance the performance of the suppressor. 2. QD system should be 2 or 3 lower lugs an internal spring will supply pressure to twist and lock the suppressor into final position. 3. Suppressor to meet full auto operation and SOCOM standard. 4. 2 different thread sizes for the flash hider 1/2x28, 9/16x24 5. To be constructed of Titanium 6. Simple take down for cleaning 7 No length requirements so -40+ dB can be achieved just not ridiculous. 8. Design end with glass breaker type tool this is important as it will be part of our identity. Maybe integrating one of our logos. 9. If you can design a twin wall thin heat sink that would allow suppressor to cool to the touch quickly. 10. If your really creative a super compact liquid coolant system. Have small nipple qd fitting to small steel braided lines to a micro fan inter cooler that would mount on pic rail and small recharging batteries. “This is a bonus design and not a requirement”. 11. Design a proprietary take down tool that will be a branding item to fit on a key chain. 12. Suppressor should only unscrew for takedown at the rear. 13. I need some oyster pots. The wire mesh will be 1/2" and the sides and center support will be made out of plywood. The mesh will be plastic coated steel from Riverdale Mills (1/2" center to center). Cage will be a cylinder with a 12" radius and a length of 4 feet. There will be a 3/4" rod passing through the center. Unlike other cages, one end will open for loading and unloading the oysters. See theoysterguy.com faq pdf for an idea of what I am looking for. Also see attached picture. I have come up with one idea for closing the ends, but any other ideas will be appreciated. The parts will be cut out of 1/4" plywood and cut out on a cnc machine (shopbot). Parts will then be coated in epoxy to make them waterproof. I want ease of assembly. Notches to align wire mesh. Longitudal arms should notch into center piece and have tabs to align outer ends. There should be hole in the sides to allow for waterflow and leverage when closing and opening one end.
