Wet Floor Warning SignalBlind

in 3D Animation Services held by icaninvent
Contest Ended, Winner(s) have been selected.
The aim of this product is to provide a device that can be placed on a Wet Floor sign to provide additional protection by warning people walking by that the floor is wet and slippery.

It must include the following features/functions:

1. A small and bright flashing LED light(s) that helps people walking by, to see and pay attention to the Warning Sign. The light should have a switch that can be set to On, Off, or Motion Sensor .

2. A speaker that can be heard from any direction that radiates up to 10 feet with a volume control switch. The pre-recorded message would play when people get within 10 feet of the sign and say "Caution, Wet Floor". Again, There must be a switch that can be set to On, Off, or Motion Sensor.

3. A micro USB receptacle for recharging.

Attached Images show:

FIG1 - Sample Wet Floor Signs currently on the market that this new device would need to attach to universally and not be easy to steal.

FIG2 - Shows a sample of a light fixture that is an example of how this could look, but with only 1 flashing yellow light facing front and back.

FIG3 - Is an example of how lights are attached to construction signs. This concept is a good example of how just adding the light helps avoid accidents.

FIG4 - This is the art used currently to explain the concept. It is NOT what we want. It is too big and doesn't need to have any words on it. But it does show how the inventor was thinking about each of the above features coming together, Light and Sound.

The purpose of the animation is to demonstrate to companies how it works as thoroughly as possible without manufacturing a prototype. So, it should show how someone approaching it activates the light and should to warn them to walk around the wet floor.
The winner will be chosen based on designing and animating the most simple and elegant solution that includes all the necessary features.
Don't Wants:
We do not want unfinished designs, it must be as complete as possible with the features noted. We do not need cutaways, just a demonstration of how it works in use.

Pls find attached my entry for the wet floor warning sign design.
The entire design is H=7 × L=8 × W=1
Also some explanations to my design.
For this device to work at it best you might consider the use of beam lights which works with obstructions, that is incoming person obstructing in 10 feet from the device to replace the motion detector that was stated in the requirement reason is because motion detector works with body warmth which might be interfered by the body warmth of the cleaner or worker near to the device making the device work due to the near by worker.
Pls find all required files attached.

I have designed it as per the condition given. All the electrical components are placed in rotating part. This rotating part has a sensor that may be IR which senses the motion and then it rotates the upper part through 180° and then it turn on 2 red lights and a small speaker makes sound and there will be a large-stop sticker at the center. two small switches for volume up and down, along with main on/off switch is provided. I have attached the assembly and video clip.

#20 Wet Floor signal by Muntazir Merchant
This design has all your requirements covered! It has an ultrasonic sensor to detect people passing by with distance accuracy. Once a person comes within the distance (10ft), the 3 lights switch on and the speaker says "Caution! Wet Floor. Follow the Green light". The green light is a path with dry flooring and red is for wet floor. The yellow light turns on to draw the pedestrians attention and if the sign is placed in a location where there is no "dry land" then both lights show red. There is another LED attachment that shines the light on the wet floor illuminating the wet areas so the pedestrian can be more careful and aware of the location of the wet area. All the lights are activated only when the ultrasonic sensor detects someone in its range. There is a concealed switch on the bottom of the device to switch it on/off. The device can be attached to any ordinary wetfloor sign and is protected against theft using a lock and key system.

#25 4D Wet floor Warning Signal by Sam_Mayo Eng.
This is my design for the Wet Floor warning device. It consists of 12in 5V-LED strips, rechargeable 9V Batteries, 360deg PIR motion sensor, 4Ohm-3Watt flat speaker(24*40mm), USB charging Module, Signal decoder, and Arduino controller. The device can be used at any place in which it can detect motion in 360deg and 6ft range then warns with a sound through the speaker like " CAUTION WET FLOOR", and also through blinking LED Lights that are visible enough without discomforting the user's vision. All the devices mentioned are easily available in the market and I personally outsource and selected the components that fit my design. The plastics parts can be manufactured by injection molding or 3D printers(some plastic components). For more you can check the drawings(picture and STEP file), and if you have any questions about the design feel free to ask.
I hope you will like the design.
Thank you and Have a Good Day!!

#27 Alert device, for wet floor warning signals by Biola
In this design, I have flushed the top light with the overall body.
I have reduced the lenght of the base holder from 5inch to 2inch covering a little material area, and reducing cost.
In the video I have illustrated the blink and also at the tail end the installation on the caution device, for firmness and secure placement.
Will be avilable for further instructions and demands.
I will work on the other design to the rectangular shape as demanded and will get back on or before the due date.
Thank you.

#29 Re design by Biola
About fitting the caution sign sizes, there are quiet alot of caution sign around the 1 inch handle size, if you have a measurement for fitting in mind we can sure work with that.
hopefully these videos looks nice enough.
I animated two, as the total assembly and alone, just so you have and insight to the total function and process.
I have the blink in the translucent car tail light kind of way red light, the clip lock removal and fix all set, also got rid of the line so to create a clean and neat animation video, no music and words too.
Thank you so much for the opportunity so far.
Stay safe and healthy in this pandemic times .
I remain available and await your feed back.

Hi there icaninvent team. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the development of this project. I'd like to take into consideration any cost targets you have in mind as I conceptualize.

What is the cost target per unit?
What is the projected volume?
What are the manufacturing capabilities you have? 3-D printing, molded parts, etc?

Thank you in advance for your response.
Best regards,

As for the general design, do you have a specific measurement for general body as per width, hight and lenght?

Tue, 21 Apr 2020 19:38:29 +0000
No, the electronics should be pretty standard "off the shelf" technology. It is more how it all comes together in a very inexpensive way and looks good while being effective. Thank you for the great question!
Tue, 21 Apr 2020 12:55:28 +0000
Do you need the electronics sorted out, or are you looking for an external concept only?

The Wackynata is a patent pending device for hanging peñattas from a vertical structure (poll, tree, etc.) when there is no low hanging horizontal apparatus to hang it from. The purpose of the animation and images is to properly demonstrate what the product will look like when it is "retail" ready. The inventor has created a working model using off-the-shelf products to demonstrate how it will work but now needs it to be made "pretty" and modified with 1 thing that she couldn't buy off the shelf, the buckle, in a cost effective but functional way. Please replace with a CAM Buckle as demonstrated here: https://www.uscargocontrol.com/1-Cam-Buckle-White-Zinc-550lbs I have attached 3 files for your consideration: 1. The image titled "Parts" lays out all the parts that need to come together in a 3D design. 2. The video titled "Bracket" shows a metal bracket she bought from the store to demonstrate how it could work but is not intended to be the final version. Instad, there is a cardboard design illustrated that would be made out of metal instead for use. 3. The "In Use" video is a demonstration for you to see how it all works together so that you will know how it should work in the animation. The 3D video should show 1. How it is easily attached to the tree (or) pole 2. How it is used

Simple Disposable Toothpaste Design Animation
Hello, This is a very easy project that I am hoping to quickly get submissions for. I am wanting to get a demonstration animation of a disposable toothpaste container. I have posted a video showing what I would like to be shown in the animation video. There is no need to show hands or anything like that. Just the container by itself going through the below-listed steps. Step 1) The toothpaste container is filled to about halfway with a white liquid by pouring the liquid into the open end of the toothpaste container. Step 2) The paper covering of the double-sided tape inside of the container is removed. (A piece of double-sided tape with a paper covering goes around the inner circumference of the toothpaste tube. The piece of tape should be about 20mm in height.) Step 3) The open end of the toothpaste container is flattened. (There should be about 20 mm of flattened tube when done, similar to the video) Step 4) The paper covering on the outside piece of double-sided tape of the container is removed. (this piece of double-sided tape should be about 20mm in height as well) Step 5) The flattened end of the toothpaste container is folded twice onto the exposed double-sided tape on the outside of the container. (The two folds should cover the entirety of the outside piece of double-sided tape) Feel free to use a regular toothpaste container as a frame of reference for size, design, etc. However, please do not place any logos onto the toothpaste container. Again a video is attached showing how the container is meant to function.
