Description:
Need a Bakery Kiosk (4x4m^2) design/futuristic/minimalist look, with shape of croissant on the ground. Maybe cork material. Please keep this simple, to have costs and time to make it faster. The kiosk itself is limited to 4x4, the floor can be bigger. It is for a shopping mall. It is a French Chef Bakery/Coffee Shop that serves croissants, chocolate and coffee. Attached are some pictures of the feel we look for. We need the implementation in 3D and 2D measurements to send to the Shopping mall Administration for Approval. THIS PROJECT CAN'T TAKE MORE THAN ONE DAY. IT IS OF EXTREME URGENCY! NO BS.

Don't Wants:
lack of experience

#2 Bakery Kiosk Concept 1
by V.M.Design
Here's my design suggestion! The basic concept idea is an open, airy kiosk with the basic shape being quite simple, yet eye-catching. As a result we have a modern design with a minimalist feel to it, which highlights the products and the brand. At the same time, it incorporates a customer-centric thinking, being comfortable and easy accessed, encouraging people to stop-by and hang around for a coffee, a croissant and an easy chat!
The design lines where also carefully selected in order to conceal all necessary equipement for the operation of the kiosk, while still being modern/simplistic.
The actual structure is quite simple and space saving, meaning it's quite simple to construct and easy on costs!
I have included render images, sketchup file (sorry for the large file:) and dimensions file.
Hope you like it! If you need any modifications, please to not hesitate to ask!

Well, I couldn't agree more with Design-for-UX. It is a bad contest. The buyer said "extreme urgency, no BS!", and asked for a 24h time frame delivery. I did deliver a design, he contacted me with p.m., he asked for some additional screenshots (claimed he couldn't see my original jpegs?!), I did send him what he asked, and then... guess what.. He disappeared! Never replied, never logged in again and.. that's all. I tried to contact him several times, and ...nothing. My guess? He either changed his mind over the whole contest, or he just got away with an early submitted design.
I'm only a few months here and I've seen this happening more than once! There was even one contest in which I participated ("Modernist Furniture Vanity Design"), which had a prepaid prize, and even then, according to the winner, the prize was never paid!!!
I think CadCrowd should look into these matters. And, probably, it's about time to take some action, too. Starting with the obvious: Ban "payment pending"!

This is a bad contest. The buyer is not interested and also not made the payment. It is waste of time working on this contest.
All new designers, do not waste your time in this BS.

Second question: the kiosk is insular or not? All sides will be exposed? Do you need a small closed/ opaque module for storage or do you use the furniture for that purpose?
Hi there, im a newcommer to cad crowd. My main problem is that im not used with imperial units system.
What 4x4m^2 does it mean? 4x4 meters / 2m high? I know, its ridiculous.

Hello BYU Capital,
Can you give us some feedback about the design and also about the prize especially when you want in just 24 hours.
Thankyou.

Well, I have concept design for you (almost ready; I need a couple of hours more), but I think the contest should be prepaid, especially considering the prize is just $80!
do you have a actual dimension on every corner of the allotted space? i mean location plan i guess, where are the fire-rated wall location, shopper walk way or near entrance/exit of the mall?

SolidWorks Simple Box with 2 Cords - Freelance 3D Designer Contest
Keep the dimensions of the box exactly as they are in the 2D version (they are in imperial but can be changed to metric in the solidworks file) I'm looking for a clean 3D Solidworks file of the exterior with the 2 cords that can pull out almost to look like an assembly drawing in Solidworks. I'm not looking to get detailed on what the product is or how it will work, but the top port is a Micro USB, and the bottom port is a Lightning USB. The notches on both are for fingernails and a cord will pull out. There is a very small power button on the bottom and 4 LED lights on the back side that I will update soon. I'm looking for conceptual nice looking design to use for sale of the product.
