Accent Piece

Description:
I have 3D probed/scanned an object that I need to recreate on my CNC router. I'm using Vectric VCarve Pro software- but its limited in it's 3d editing capabilities- Vectric Aspire is what I would need, but do not have the funds to upgrade at this time. So what I need is this object rendered fully in a 3D model (the other half is the same as what was scanned already (mirror image)- AND, the other side of the object has a contour to it. I have yet to probe that side, but would just do a small portion, and that can be extended to create the backside "carve". So I need to do a 2-sided machining of this object. I assume an .stl file or similar would be what I need.
Wants:
There is nothing too fancy about this- I just need the modeling done so I can cnc rout the file from 2" sign foam (HDU)

  1. Vectric (Aspire)
  2. autodesk
Additional Information
I uploaded the file I scanned. I'm not sure of the correct terminology- but it's a 3D .dxf file. The backside portion would be the same type of file- just would be a few lines, since the "carve" is the same throughout the entire back- it would just need to be extended/stretched to machine the back with the same profile.

I'm sorry I have been out of touch. I have been trying diligently to reach the client about this project but have not heard anything- or very little. It looks like it has been dropped. The other half of this project was the backside carve- which I did not want to pursue with you all because I was realizing the client was not returning calls/emails. I tought it would come around, but it never did. I'm sorry.

Provided the back sweep is a constant, you should be able to do as listed below.

Lay the part on it's front face so that the back is facing upwards.
Provided you are work on a flat plane you should be able to measure from the resting surface to the start point of the radius, then using a level held horizontally over the center point out to a vertical point over the outer edge you should be able to find the dimension for the highest point.

Short of that working ..... take as many photos as you can from every possible angle (the more the merrier) and I will TRY to convert it to convert them to a 3d file using software I very rarely use. If this is the route you are going to use I will provide you with my email address so you can send the files directly.

Before I do that and you spend any time- how should I go about conveying the back of the part. It has a carved out shape that runs throughout the backside. This is equally important, as it fits over molding. Sorry the other file is not use-able- it opens fine on my Vectric software and I can move the 3D part around- just cannot edit it like I need. I tried exporting it to another format, but didn't have any luck...

I have tried accessing the newly attached dxf file. It opens as a corrupted blob for me.
Is there any way you can provide a view straight on or if you prefer plan view ( lay part on ground stand directly over it and take a photo). I will also need to know the over all length and height from the farthest points. I think I can create a fairly accurate model given that minimal information.

Place your part down on a piece of grid paper and add another photograph of it in plan view and relay some measured heights. Someone on this site will reproduce it for you. I can do the job, however, $80 is not quite enough to make it worth my time.

The inside should be hallow and the liver should include a hole on top where the hyper-vein would normally be and a hole on bottom where the vein would leave.
