About this service
I offer professional reverse engineering and precision 3D modeling services for museum-quality scale models, historical reconstructions, and complex reference-based CAD development.
My work combines historical research, photogrammetry-based reconstruction, Rhino 3D surface modeling, and production-oriented detailing to recreate vessels and other heritage objects with a high level of accuracy and visual fidelity.
A representative example is my work on a 1:32 museum-scale model of the Norwegian fishing vessel Havbris for Nordnorsk Fartøyvernsenter og Båtmuseum. Based on photogrammetry, historical references, and reverse engineering methods, I developed a detailed CAD model for production. The complete development cycle took approximately 80 hours, including research, modeling, detailing, technical drawings, assembly instructions, and production-ready file preparation.
My services include:
• Reverse engineering from photos, scans, photogrammetry, drawings, and archival references
• Rhino 3D modeling of complex hulls, surfaces, and hard-to-reconstruct forms
• Historical and technical reconstruction of missing or incomplete geometry
• Surface refinement and correction of imperfect scan-based data
• CAD development for museum models, heritage replicas, and presentation-grade scale models
• Technical drawings, exploded views, and assembly instructions
• Production-ready exports for 3D printing, CNC, modelmaking, and fabrication workflows
I focus on projects where accuracy, craft...
