Duties & Responsibilities as Following:
  Review of project technical specifications (PTS) and conceptual drawings prepared by engineering support division for Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) extra high voltage (EHV) substation projects.
  Review of EPC contractor civil Design submittals for construction of extra high voltage substation including base design and detail design (detailed drawings, design calculations and material technical specification) to ensure that the civil design package prepared by the contractor comply with project PTS, SEC Standards and International Code of Practice.
  Review and approve of Concrete design mix, Laboratory & Field Test Reports of construction materials as well as reviewing manufacturer’s certificate for approval of their product / materials including installation techniques and site workmanship standards.
  Responsible for the final checking, Review and Approval of drawings and calculations and bound contractor to do all works as per specifications and standard. Including frequent site visits.
  Participate in the pre-qualification for the SEC new contractors, vendors and suppliers.
  Responsible for the Assessment and solution of all design related issues faced at site during construction phase.
