I am currently a student at the University of Waterloo, pursuing a Master of Engineering Degree in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering. While I was pursuing my undergraduate degree I was able to intern at a manufacturing company and an automotive company for 8 months each. Both experiences allowed me to gain valuable experience and insight into effective design practices. In addition, I am pursuing a Graduate Design Diploma to hone my skills in Mechanical Engineering design.

  • Mechanical Engineering Intern Workhorse Group · Jan 2018 – Jul 2018 6 mos Loveland, OH, USA My two biggest projects included the design and assembly of a full-scale prototype battery pack for an all-electric delivery van and a CAD assembly reconfiguration for the entire chassis and drivetrain of another all-electric delivery truck with the purpose of improving CAD modeling performance.
  • Reliability Intern Emery Oleochemicals · Jan 2016 – Apr 2016 3 mos Cincinnati, OH, USA *Split into 2 terms: second term from August 2016 to December 2016. I was responsible for the maintainence of all relief valves installed in the entire chemical plant in addition to various other duties such as Non-Destructive Testing and cataloging failures for Mean-Time-Between-Failures calculations.
