The Most Challenging Mechanical Project is the Design Analyze and fabrication of an All-terrain vehicle. In this project, we have to design and fabricate a working prototype of an all-terrain vehicle along with more than 20 people working in the same environment to achieve a common goal.
I worked in the team as subsystem Breaking Department head where my role was to design inboard Brake disc, outboard brake disc and other Subsystem of Braking Department along with integration, optimization, and manufacturing of the component with the input and Design parameters, Power constraints, Space Constraints, Selection of Material, Reliability of the disc under different Loading conditions which are relevant to the final product. We have achieved a final braking distance in loose gravel under 3m at speed of 42km/hr to 0 with a vehicle weighing 155kg.
