Colin Armstrong

I utilize solidworks and have experience with NX and Inventor. I am currently employed at Futura industries. My job consists of assisting with design of aluminum extrusions using solidworks. I was awarded an internship with Northrop Grumman in high school where I used NX to recreate the A-10 Thunderbolt 2A with a team of Engineers in the sustainment department. I use CAD on a daily basis for a variety of tasks including machine design in great detail, calculating moment of inertia and the centroid, helping customers reduce cost in their aluminum extrusions, and quoting them based on machine work needed and different alloys.
