About

Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India), with more than 34 years of experience in bridge, highway, metro and marine infrastructure.

I provide project-based structural analysis and design, engineering CAD drafting and technical review for bridges, highway structures and related infrastructure. I use STAAD.Pro, MIDAS and SOFiSTiK for structural modelling, analysis and design, and AutoCAD to prepare and revise engineering drawings. I also use Rhino/Grasshopper for parametric geometry and modelling where it suits the project scope.

My services include structural design checks, technical review, constructability and construction-methodology review, temporary-works interfaces, foundation-related assessment and coordination of technical comments. I have contributed to major projects including Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, Mumbai Coastal Road, Jalna-Nanded Expressway, Dhubri-Phulbari Bridge and the Storstrøm Bridge. My project experience includes India and Bangladesh, with design and review inputs for projects in Denmark, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia from India.

I have experience with IRC/IS, Eurocode and AASHTO LRFD design frameworks, as applicable to the agreed assignment. At the outset, I agree the design basis, client inputs, deliverables, schedule and review limits. Depending on scope, outputs can include calculation/design notes, analysis models, DWG/PDF drawings or documented review comments. I am open to clearly scoped remote assignments in India and internationally.
