I have worked in Houston for many yrs including the last 20 yrs for Hollywood Steel Manufacturing as their full time Steel Detailer.
My steel detailer experience is about 15 yrs in the industrial field and about 20 yrs in the commercial field. I mainly produce 2D dwgs with bill of materials and of course can provide the pdf dwgs necessary for the shop. I am very familiar with the current steel standards and have detailed everything from industrial platforms including the rails, grating and ladders to all kinds of commercial jobs including schools and churches and renovations to existing buildings. Of course providing accurate erection drawings and section drawings is the key to accurate steel detail drawings.
