Mechanical design engineer for marine equipment: Deck cranes, Knuckle boom cranes, Gantry cranes, A-frames, and Boat landings with Gangway systems. I build production-ready Autodesk Inventor models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings. Everything is checked with FEA before it goes to fabrication.
Designs are made for saltwater service: material selection, corrosion allowance, welded and bolted joints, and design-for-manufacture so parts can be machined and welded without a re-draw.FEA covers static stress, deflection, and operating load cases for lifting, overboarding, landing, and gangway use.
I report the assumptions, mesh checks, and whether the part passes, not just a color plot.
Deliverables: native Inventor files, STEP, PDF/dwg drawings with BOM: Drawings are: cutting, welding, machining and assemblies.
I work in CET time zone, reply within one business day, and agree the scope before modeling starts.
