Dragon Designs Ltd is a UK design and technical consultancy specializing in ceilings, architectural metalwork, drylining, partitions and fit-out systems.
We're led by a Design Director with over 30 years' experience in specialist subcontractor design, design management and manufacturer-level detailing. We bring that practical construction and manufacturing knowledge into the design process, so our solutions are compliant, coordinated and buildable before work starts on site.
We work alongside architects, principal contractors, specialist contractors, manufacturers and other consultants. Our job is to turn design intent into clear 2D construction, fabrication and installation information. That means feature, acoustic, metal, GRG and timber ceilings, bespoke metalwork, drylining and partition systems, and the interfaces between them.
Drawing is only part of it. We challenge proposals early and assess whether systems suit the job. We check how fire, acoustic, structural and service requirements interact, and we coordinate the multi-trade interfaces that usually cause problems late on.
Our project experience includes Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Battersea Power Station, Muscat International Airport, 100 Bishopsgate, Apple's Bishopsgate offices, Microsoft's Cambridge research building, the Heathrow TCA subway, One Nine Elms, Paddington Square, Printworks Manchester, and rail and station projects. We carry Professional Indemnity insurance.
