  • Equipment and piping layout design, from conceptual to as-builts
  • Skid/Plant 3D modelling (Equipment, piping, structure) with general arrangement (GAD) drawings.
  • Isometric drawing extraction @ structural drawings, checking, maintaining and issuing for fabrication
  • Centre of gravity
  • Design according to transportation requirements and development of dismantling and reassembly plan for smooth installation at client site

  • Coordinate internally with the project team and understand the overall scope of work of the particular project/job including details related to the mechanical design scope
  • Participate in (daily) project scrum meetings. Manage, monitor and report on the status of mechanical design for the projects.
  • Contribute to design reviews, HAZOP, and model reviews.
  • Resolve technical issues with the project team as well as suppliers, subcontractors and statutory authorities.
  • Resolve technical issues during fabrication and assembly
  • Ensure compliance of mechanical package design with all relevant codes & standards through design review.
  • Ensure spec compliance
  • Manage the sub-contractors for mechanical design.
  • Coordinate with the Project Engineer / Manager and send various reports required by Client on time and be involved in the preparation of these reports.
  • Ensure all the tasks related to mechanical design are being executed as per approved drawings & proper utilisation of materials (right equipment for right kind of job). Also discuss the physically observed site deviations with the relevant manager & further formally coordinate with the client for their review & approval.
  • Preparation of as-built markup drawings after the successful completion of the fabrication and (pre-) commissioning and startup.
