About
I'm a mechatronics engineer (B.Eng. in progress, Jade University of Applied Sciences, Germany) working at the intersection of mechanics, electronics and measurement technology. That intersection is where most enclosure and sensor assembly problems appear — and where I'm strongest.
What I deliver
Part and assembly design in Fusion 360, CATIA V6 and Inventor, through to manufacturing-ready data, with design-for-manufacturing for FDM printing. Alongside that: electronics and sensor integration (KiCad, Raspberry Pi, drive selection) and measurement data evaluation and visualisation in Python and Excel.
Selected projects
In a maritime research project I built a complete reference measurement station — from concept through design and fabrication to commissioning in the field, including a sensor box with an embedded computer, power supply, active cooling and sealed cable glands. Other work: a weatherproof protective housing with an integrated air-purging system, a camera gimbal system including drives and procurement planning, and the design of a wind turbine shaft with bearing selection and fatigue verification.
How I work
There's usually no specification at the start — just a problem. I define requirements in conversation, assess feasibility and cost early, and iterate fast: I print my own prototypes, which keeps the loops short. I document results so they still make sense months later.

Research project "Eco Crossing" (maritime measurement technology, in cooperation with DFKI).
- Designed and built a complete reference measurement station: concept, CAD design, fabrication, assembly and commissioning in the field
- Designed a sensor box with embedded computer, power supply, active cooling and sealed cable glands, and developed a transferable build methodology
- Designed a weatherproof camera housing with an integrated air-purging system, including air path layout around a radial blower and a multi-stage filter concept
- Designed a camera gimbal system including drive selection, control, wiring and procurement planning
- Evaluated flow measurement data from two independent sensor systems in Python: time synchronisation, plausibility checks and outlier analysis
- Tools: Fusion 360, CATIA V6, KiCad, FDM printing (ASA), Python, Raspberry Pi -
