I'm a mechanical design engineer with 19 years of industrial experience, specializing in production-ready CAD models, technical documentation and reverse engineering.
Experience
I spent 19 years at a large industrial manufacturer, working on complex electrotechnical products through the full cycle — from concept and 3D models to complete assemblies, drawings and bills of materials, prototype testing, and serial production. I progressed from design engineer to Head of a Design Bureau, leading a team of up to 25 engineers, and later to lead engineer responsible for implementing a PDM system and administering the company's CAD infrastructure.
What I do for clients
Reverse engineering — I rebuild accurate 3D CAD models from a damaged part, a physical sample, or scan data. I own a 3D scanner, so I can handle the full process from measurement to solid model and drawings.
Production-ready CAD modeling — parametric parts and assemblies with correct geometry, tolerances and manufacturability in mind, not just shapes that look right on screen.
Technical documentation — manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions, specifications.
3D print preparation — 8 years of hands-on 3D printing: wall thickness, orientation, support minimization, post-processing.
Software
SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX, KOMPAS-3D, T-Flex. PDM systems: Teamcenter, T-Flex. Blender for photorealistic visualization.

Education
- Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University Engineer, Design and Technology of Radio-Electronic Devices 2003 – 2008 Five-year engineering program at the Faculty of Instrument Engineering, covering mechanical design, materials science, manufacturing technology and design documentation standards. Graduated with an engineer qualification after defending a diploma project.
Other experience
- 3D Visualization & Rendering Photorealistic rendering in Blender: product visualization, interiors, and technical visualization of equipment and engineering systems. My renders are built on engineering-accurate geometry rather than approximations.
- PDM Implementation & CAD Administration Implemented and configured a PDM system across a manufacturing company, administered its CAD infrastructure, and trained engineering staff. Experience with Teamcenter and T-Flex, including migrating design workflows to end-to-end digital product data management.
- 3D Printing & Prototyping 8 years of practical FDM 3D printing with my own equipment. I prepare models that print correctly the first time: wall thickness, draft angles, part orientation, minimal supports, and post-processing. I also supervised prototype manufacturing and testing throughout my engineering career.
- Reverse Engineering & 3D Scanning 8 years of hands-on reverse engineering: rebuilding accurate solid CAD models from physical parts, damaged components and scan data. I own a 3D scanner and handle the full process from measurement and mesh cleanup to solid geometry and manufacturing drawings — useful when a part is out of production and no documentation exists.
