• Project Manager Supervisor Molex · Full-time Jan 2023 – Present 3 yrs 8 mos Lisle, IL, USA Project manager in Molex's Global Reliabillity Lab. Significantly less mechanical design responsiblities (although I've designed and 3D printed several fixtures), but the position has improved my skills with how to manage stakeholders, communicate with 3rd parties, and technical writing via lab reports.
• Test Engineer John Crane · Full-time Aug 2019 – Dec 2022 3 yrs 4 mos Morton Grove, IL, USA Test engineer in John Crane's R&D wet-seals lab. Responsible for overseeing testing projects on new mechanical seal designs going from rig design / modifications, to testing, and test reporting. Given that each project was a product design, the test rigs would usually need new components designed and manufactured - which I would oversee. This provided a great experience in taking tolerances and GD&T call-outs to real-life as I would design the parts, and then have to assemble the test rig myself. For example, how essential is a total run-out of 0.002" and what does that physically perform like at 3600 RPM on a stainless steel shaft of 24" in length and 1.5" in diamater? Again, great combination of taking my theoretical designs to real-life application.

Experienced with designing mechanical seal components and assemblies - as well as participating in John Crane's engineering help-desk. This is a customer service line for any internal manufacturing or field application issues. CAD software used was Siemens SolidEdge.
• R & D Design Engineer Cincinnati Test Systems · Internship Jun 2018 – Dec 2019 1 yrs 6 mos Cincinnati, OH, USA Design engineer for leak-test equipment manufacturer using SolidWorks. Experienced with sheet metal fabrication, pneumatic manifold design, document control, etc.
