I'm a Experienced Project Engineer with genuine, hands-on experience in this industry - HND-qualified, and I've worked on the shop floor myself; Welding, Fabrication, CNC folding, Laser cutting, Assembly and Finishing processes - all core sheet metal and manufacturing processes, before moving into a Project Engineer role where i gained valuable experience on the other side of manufacturing, pushing efficient manufacturing processes and ensuring quality products to a vast rang of Industry's.
My background is what shapes how I design and review parts. I know from direct shop floor experience what actually makes manufacturing efficient and cost-effective versus what causes rework, reduced throughput and reduced profitability. I specialise in sheet metal CAD design, Design for Manufacture (DFM) reviews, and flat pattern development, spotting the small decisions that make a real difference to your production cost and speed before they ever reach the shop floor.
