I lead digital engineering and BIM across one of Australia’s major infrastructure programs, supporting the delivery of complex transport infrastructure from design through construction and into asset operation.
With more than 20 years’ experience in civil and structural engineering, I have built a career at the intersection of engineering, technology, information and project delivery. My experience spans BIM and digital engineering strategy, information management, model coordination, CDE implementation, data requirements, asset information, digital assurance, reality capture and the development of practical digital workflows that work in the real world.
I have worked across the full digital engineering lifecycle, bringing together design teams, contractors, asset owners and project stakeholders to establish consistent information standards and deliver reliable, coordinated and data-rich project information.
My technical experience includes Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revizto, Cupix, ACC, ProjectWise, GIS, LiDAR/reality capture, IFC and information/data workflows, alongside a strong foundation in civil and structural engineering.
I am an Information Management Practitioner certified through Operam Academy, with a particular interest in using technology and data to solve practical project problems rather than implementing technology for technology’s sake.
I’m passionate about the next generation of digital engineering — connecting people, processes, models and data to improve how major projects are designed, delivered, handed over and ultimately operated.
