  As an Industrial Product Engineer, I work on the "design, development, and improvement of mechanical components" made from "plastic, sheet metal, and casting materials". My responsibilities include 3D CAD modelling, 2D drawing preparation, material selection, design validation, and ensuring manufacturability.
  
  For "plastic components*", I consider wall thickness, draft angles, ribs, bosses, shrinkage, and injection-moulding requirements. For "sheet-metal parts", I focus on bend allowances, bend radii, thickness, tolerances, flat patterns, and fabrication processes. For 'casting components", I consider draft angles, wall thickness, fillets, machining allowances, material selection, and casting feasibility.
  
  I also identify "design, tolerance, and manufacturing issues" and implement practical improvements to achieve reliable, cost-effective, and production-ready products. My work involves collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams throughout the product development process.
