• Senior CNC Programmer Independent contractor · Part-time Oct 2018 – Present 7 yrs 9 mos Bulgaria Hi, I am a CAM Engineer and CNC Programmer with a strong background in machining. I started my career working for over 10 years on conventional machines. After that, I worked for 3 years as a CNC operator, and for the last 8 years, I have been successfully programming complex parts.I specialize in CAMWorks, 3-axis, and 3+2 axis CNC milling, as well as Wire EDM programming. I have a lot of experience with big machines like LAGUN and CORREA NORMA. These machines have a limited Y-axis travel because they stop just after the center of the table. To solve this, I split the setups and use C-axis rotations to machine the parts.I regularly work with large parts, such as heavy plates up to 2500 x 2500 x 30 mm, which need multiple rotations. I also program very complex 3D parts for the tobacco industry, like insertion tongues and garniture tongues. These parts have very difficult surfaces, but I produce them successfully with high quality.My main skills are CAMWorks programming, CNC milling, setup splitting, C-axis positioning, large plate machining, and Wire EDM.
