About
I am a mechanical design and manufacturing engineering professional with extensive experience taking parts and processes from concept through production.
My background includes mechanical design, CAD modeling, fixture and workholding development, CNC programming, process planning, new product introduction, design-for-manufacturability review, prove-out support, and production troubleshooting. I work across engineering, programming, machining, quality, and operations to make sure designs are not only technically correct, but also practical to manufacture, inspect, document, and repeat.
I have experience designing and supporting precision components, tooling, fixtures, assemblies, and manufacturing processes for aerospace, defense, semiconductor, composite, plastic, and general industrial applications. My software experience includes Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Mastercam, and Fusion 360, along with experience supporting Fanuc- and Okuma-controlled equipment.
My engineering approach is grounded in real manufacturing execution. I consider material behavior, tolerances, GD&T, tooling access, machine capability, workholding, inspection strategy, setup reduction, cycle time, and operator usability during the design and planning process. A design is not finished simply because it looks correct on the screen. It has to survive contact with the shop floor.
My services include:
• Mechanical design and 3D CAD modeling
• Fixture, tooling, and workholding design
• Manufacturing engineering and process development
• Design for manufacturability reviews
• CNC programming and CAM development
• 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining strategies
• Technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Setup sheets and process plans
• NPI, prove-out, and production support
• Cycle-time and workflow improvement
• Engineering troubleshooting and root-cause support
I am continuing my formal engineering education while applying that knowledge directly in a manufacturing leadership role. My combination of design, engineering, programming, and shop-floor experience allows me to identify problems early and develop solutions that are both technically sound and realistic to implement.

OR, United States
Lead mechanical design, manufacturing engineering, CNC programming, NPI, fixture development, and production-support activities for precision-machined components.
My work includes developing part and fixture models, designing workholding and manufacturing solutions, reviewing designs for manufacturability, creating machining and process strategies, supporting complex 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC programming, and coordinating first-part prove-out and inspection.
I work closely with engineering, programming, machining, quality, production, and leadership to move projects from initial design and planning through release and stable production. Responsibilities include resolving design and manufacturing issues, interpreting GD&T and customer requirements, developing setup and process documentation, improving cycle time and repeatability, managing revisions, and supporting root-cause investigations.
Primary tools include Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Mastercam, Fusion 360, ERP and production-tracking systems, and Microsoft 365 engineering workflows.
