I am a high school Technology and Engineering teacher, and I've been teaching CAD, engineering, and robotics courses since 2013Outside of the classroom, I'm a hobbyist builder with over a decade of hands-on experience in carpentry and running CNC routers.

Because I spend my day job breaking down technical drawings for students and my free time building physical projects, I look at digital design from a practical standpoint. I use modern CAD software to take rough sketches or ideas and turn them into clean 2D shop drawings, blueprints, or 3D assemblies. Since I know how wood joinery, material tolerances, and CNC machines actually behave in a workshop, I just focus on making sure my digital files are accurate, organized, and ready to be built in the real world.
