About
I am a Los Angeles-based senior architectural designer with more than 15 years of experience delivering residential, commercial, and urban projects across California and Ecuador. I hold a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad San Francisco de Quito (2008). My education was further enriched by arts and architecture coursework at Chaffey College in California (2002) and interior design studies through UC Riverside Extension (2003).
My career seamlessly blends hands-on construction leadership, sophisticated high-end design, and a strong commitment to sustainable innovation. My recent collaboration with DS Ewing Architects Inc. in Pasadena, contributing to residential and renovation projects for private and public clients, overseeing design development, interior design, and code compliance.
From April 2022 to June 2025, I served as Senior Architectural Designer at Hi-Tech Design Inc. in Los Angeles, where I led the planning and design of new single-family homes and accessory dwelling units (ADUs) in LA and Beverly Hills (up to approximately 10,000 sq.ft.), producing complete design and construction documentation. Earlier positions include Designer at Kritzinger & Rao Design, Inc. (2020–2022), where I supported commercial, residential, and master planning efforts as assistant project manager; Construction Manager and Principal Designer at A E Arquitectura Ejecucion in Quito, Ecuador (2017–2019), supervising the construction of a 23-unit reinforced concrete housing development; and Project Designer at Q3 / Taller Idea Arquitectura (2010–2012).
Between 2012 and 2017, my independent consulting in Ecuador resulted in numerous completed projects, including multi-family apartment buildings (such as Arezzo apartments with 31 units and Brescia- 23 housing units), single-family residences, warehouses, and larger residential complexes. My early U.S. experience included CAD drafting and civil engineering support.
I completed specialized workshops in permaculture and bio-construction (2012). Fluent in English and Spanish. I skillfully bridge rigorous professional practice with visionary advocacy, inspiring resilient and culturally attuned futures through design competitions and community dialogue.
