Situation: In environments where students and organizations sought stronger technical direction in robotics and autonomous systems,
Task: I took on leadership roles to drive innovation, guide teams, and transform ideas into functional engineering solutions.
Action: As Co-Lead of Robotics and Embedded Systems at GDG Covenant University and 300-Level Representative for RAIN CU Network, I designed robotic systems, mentored students, planned technical workshops, represented my university at conferences, and managed projects using tools like Fusion 360, Inventor, MATLAB, SolidWorks, ROS, C++, and Python.
Result: These efforts led to the successful execution of multiple robotics projects, including a fruit-harvesting robotic arm (RAIN Hackathon) and a dual-terrain waste-collection vehicle (Autodesk Designathon). I strengthened team performance, improved project organization, and helped cultivate a growing community of robotics talent.
I enjoy tackling complex engineering problems—from robotic gripper design to automation system integration—and I am committed to advancing technology through research, collaboration, and continuous learning. With certifications in Fusion 360, engineering drawing, and software tools, I aim to contribute to cutting-edge robotics and manufacturing innovations in Nigeria and globally.
