- Overseeing repairs and maintenance of GIZ houses and facilities
- Preparing the design, cost estimations, tendering, implementation and monitoring
of the construction/repair for GIZ properties
- Providing technical advice to the GIZ on the design of a sustainable management
model and innovative concepts for integrating livelihoods initiatives where
applicable
- Developing the technical specification and bill of quantities for the
construction/repair works
- Conducting regular local market survey of houses/rent prices
- Supervision and quality control of the construction/renovation/repair works until

Satinsyi bridges.
- Supervision of the improvement of the Rubagabaga – Satinsyi Bridges
connecting roads (6km)
- Verifying & modifying as built drawings for the bridge
- Review of bridge structure reinforcements
- Revising the geometric design drawings and proposing adjustment where
possible depending on the natural of the terrain and occurring
environmental hazards.
- Working on geometric road design in civil 3D to upgrade the already made
book of drawings considering the current terrain and survey data to fit the
requirements in the RTDA Road Geometric Design Manual.
- Production of as built drawings of the road linking Rubagabaga and
Satinsyi bridges
- Drafting of R.C.C box culverts drawings to be built across the road
- Reviewing, checking and calculating structures principal quantities
including
Concrete, precast concrete slabs, steel reinforcements and masonry work
Of culverts and ditches along the road.
- Reviewing contractors’ working drawings of different items to be put on
the Rubagabaga – Satinsyi roads and approach Roads of the bridge
