• Senior Mechanical Engineer Verus Research · Full-time Sep 2019 – Mar 2025 5 yrs 6 mos Albuquerque, NM, United States At Verus Research I was responsible for basic mechanical engineering tasks like creating product designs using CAD tools like Solidworks and analysis tools like Solidworks Simulation and MathCAD. I was asked to prepare and participate in customer-facing stage gate meetings. I was responsible for the procurement and assembly of customer-facing products and prototypes. I worked on a team that
  developed a sensor that repackaged an oscilloscope in such a way that it could be flown in an unmanned aerial drone. The packaging had to protect the oscilloscope from EMI interference, vibration, hot temperatures, and rain. I was responsible for leading the mechanical design, prototyping, testing and delivery of the product to our government customer. We were able to deliver this product on time and within budget. I lead the execution of customer-facing field test, directing team members and addressing challenges presented by weather and equipment malfunctions. I also held
