• Owner Cube H Studios · Self-employed Mar 2020 – Present 6 yrs 3 mos Petoskey, MI, United States I started my own design, drafting, and project management company. I had intended to take it full time, but then covid derailed everything. This is the company that I coordinate side work through. I do everything from client coordination through construction administration. I coordinate all aspects of the projects: contracts, clients & client meetings, designs, design development, construction documentation, coordinate with engineers (structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, civil, etc.), coordinate with outside consultants (interior designers, landscape architects, kitchens & cabinetry, etc.), coordinate with GCs, review RFPs & invoices, site visits, review & responses to RFIs, shop drawing review, final punch lists, and more. I typically only take on one project at a time since this is for side work, and to make sure I can provide proper attention needed for each project.

I do everything from schematic design through construction administration. The firm is mostly residential, but we have taken on more commercial the last few years. I coordinate all aspects of the projects: contracts, clients & client meetings, designs, design development, construction documentation, coordinate with engineers (structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, civil, etc.), coordinate with outside consultants (interior designers, landscape architects, kitchens & cabinetry, etc.), coordinate with GCs, review RFPs & invoices, site visits, review & responses to RFIs, shop drawing review, final punch lists, and more. I often work on several projects at the same time, typically all in different stages of development and progress.
• Area Production Manager Pulte Homes Corp · Full-time Sep 2002 – Sep 2007 5 yrs Bloomfield Hills, MI, United States I began working at Pulte Homes in the architectural department right after college graduation. I started as a Draftsman and worked my way up to Area Production Manager. I managed the architectural production of all of the Great Lakes Area (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois) community developments, both current and new. I oversaw a team that produced the construction documents and designs for all of the communities being built in this area and traveled to the build sites for field visits and site coordination. Each community size varied, from 200-600 homes per community. Being a part of the leadership team I also developed common details, drawing standardization, and training for new draftsmen.
