Junior Naval Architect/Ship Designer
Passionate about ship design, I specialize in the construction, stability and design of vessels across different materials and configurations. My experience spans Fiberglass Reinforcement Plastic (FRP) ship construction and steel hulls with aluminum superstructures, ensuring compliance with IACS and local classification standards.
Recently, I contributed to the docking plan and ballasting plan for the floating dock of Austal Philippines, demonstrating my expertise in structural calculations and vessel operations. My technical skills include 3D modeling in Rhino 3D, drawing detailing and plan development in AutoCAD, and stability calculations using Maxsurf.
Currently, I serve as Science Research Specialist II in a DOST-led project, focusing on the design of an FRP trimaran with a hybrid propulsion system- sail as the main propulsion and an inboard marine engine as secondary. My goal is to drive innovation in sustainable ship design while optimizing performance and efficiency.

- Naval Architect Sangani Engineering Works · Full-time Feb 2020 – Present 6 yrs 3 mos Central Visayas, Philippines As a Junior Naval Architect and Marine Engineer, I prepared 2D and 3D drawings for conceptual and detailed vessel designs, performed structural calculations in compliance with IACS rules, and conducted inclining experiments and corresponding trim and stability reports. I also developed docking and ballasting plans and calculations for floating dock operations, created fabrication drawings for the production team, and carried out lightweight and hull suface area calculations to support constructoin and stability requirements.
