About
I'm just startingout out on my drafting journey with a moderate amount AutoCAD experience (8 years) and little Revit experience (1 year) in hopes to become a "CAD Genius" (so to speak"). The plan, however, is to eventually become an architect. Though the transition to become an architectural drafter wasn't too much of a reach as I hold 20 years of residential construction and 5 years of commercial construction under my belt. This in turn gives me the ability to mentally see what I'm desiging.

- Architectural Drafter Charbonneau Design · Self-employed May 2022 – Jan 2025 2 yrs 8 mos WA, United States I aquired my WA state business license to become a freelance drafter so I can reach out to multiple clients and help them with their drafting projects. I've worked with architects, contractors and other drafting and design companies.
Education
- Texas State Technical College Asscociate degree, Architectural & Civil Drafting Technology 2024 – 2026 (expected) I wanted to continue my drafting education, and ITT Tech was outdated. So I decided to go back and update my degree. After completing my AAS, I'll be going back yet again for my BA in architecture (not with this school).
- ITT Tech Institute ASS Computer Aided Drafting, CAD Drafting 2004 – 2006 This started off my CAD drafting education into becoming an architectural drafter. I recieved a job offer with a structural engineering company drafting up details. I ended up taking a break from drafting and went back to construction after I received my degree.
