• Senior Design and Test Engineer TT Electronics · Full-time Jan 2023 – Present 2 yrs 11 mos Wales, United Kingdom My role as Senior Design and Test Engineer at TT Electronics (AB Connectors) has encompassed the responsibility for and involvement in the following activities:
  ● Interpreting and then defining test requirements from MIL SPEC (US - DOD Standards), BS (British Standard) and VG (German Military Standards), LUL (london underground) and Network Rail for testing in house connector design solutions.
  ● Creating and implementing testing schedules with the project engineer for test technicians to implement testing.
  ● Analysed test jig requirements, designed Jigs via 3D CAD, DFM, manufacture and bring into service including associated operating procedures and risk assessments.
  ● Recommending improvements to the definition of testing requirements to VG Military standards via annual committee meetings to be considered for next publication.
  ● New in house testing facility - created test procedures in conjunction with the safety team.
  ● Created layout design for test equipment for the in house maintenance team to install.
  ● Diagnosing test failures and recommending design solutions and further testing.
  ● Raising Change requests and competing change orders.
  ● Checking Drawings for test articles and design intent connectors.
  ● Creating Bills of Materials.
  ● Recommending test requirements for new products.
  ● Working closely with test technicians and 3rd party support to diagnose faults with test equipment (Vibration shaker tables etc).
  ● Bespoke design of Vibration test jigs via Nastran FEA simulation.
  ● Nastran FEA Simulation correlation to real world vibration data.
