• Senior Mechanical Product Engineer Bolgers Engineering · Full-time Aug 2022 – Present 2 yrs 9 mos Ireland Finite Element Analysis (FEA) concepts to simulate real-life scenarios, identifying critical points and optimising project performance;
  Jig & fixture design for welding robots in Solidworks with GD&T analysis;

  Accomplishments:
  
  I developed the structural and mechanical part of two machines for a healthcare company used for spraying titanium into prosthetics. Secured over €400K in project work for the company.
  
  I was responsible for designing and manufacturing a device to weld an assembly using a welding robot. As a tool I used Solidworks and applied GD&T and Design to manufacturing concepts. The results obtained were a homogeneous weld that was 80% faster compared to manual welding.

  During 18 months I developed a new firearm from prototype to validation that was sold around 30 thousand per year.
