• Mechanical Design Engineer Havells · Full-time Jun 2019 – Present 6 yrs 11 mos India Responsibilities:
  - Complete Product Architecture i.e. Concept generation, CAD Modelling, Detail designing, Theoretical calculations, Testing etc.
  - Driving Design for Manufacturability/Assembly discussions.
  - Ensuring Design control processes, Risk management File, DFR (Design for reliability), DFM, DFA, Design Verification and Validation, Test method development & Validation etc.
  - Aligning with legal team to protect IP on in-house creations for Havells India Limited
  - Mathematically modelling fluid and mechanical systems to formulate numeric and psychometric values to evaluate technological feasibility in the pre-prototyping stage
  - Aligning with the CXD team and carrying out development and engineering activities after product conceptualization.
  
  
  Key Project 1:
  Venturi Air Cooler (VAC) : Invented and engineered a personal air cooling device, which does not use any pump to lift water. VAC is 62% smaller in dimensions compared to any ordinary cooler and also gives much higher cooling efficiency while keeping issues like pump jamming at bay.
  
  Key Project 2 :
  Coanda Air-circulator: Invented and engineered a roof hanging product that incorporates an air-circulator, an air purifier and a light. it gives major cost benefits for the intended features while ensuring a great user experience.
  
  Key Project 3:
  Air Purifier 250: Design Architecture, Assembly Tolerance Stacks, Air Flow Management.
  
  Auxillary Projects:
  - Designed a compound epicyclic gear train for a vegetable washer project.
  - Designed mechanism function for the multifunction switch (MFS).

• Senior Design Engineer Stryker Corporation · Full-time Feb 2022 – Aug 2024 2 yrs 6 mos India Designed and developed a new type of oscillating attachment (OSCA) from the ground up, focusing on optimizing functionality and usability through multiple iterations and over 30+ prototypes. Filed multiple IDFs and patents. Collaborated closely with cross-functional stakeholders from Ireland and the US to ensure alignment on project goals and user needs.
