Experienced Construction Draughtsperson | Site Foreman | Multi-Disciplinary Draughting Specialist
With nearly two decades of experience in construction drafting and site management, I bring a wealth of technical expertise and hands-on industry knowledge. My career began in 2006 after completing a comprehensive draughting course at the Professional Draughting Service, where I gained proficiency in architectural, electrical, piping, mechanical, and civil draughting.
I started my professional journey at a power station, where I specialized in piping as-built/as-is drawings during the facility’s return-to-service rebuilding phase. My role also involved developing workshop drawings for the fabrication of critical components. Over the course of seven years, I contributed to three major power stations, using AutoCAD to ensure precise and efficient drafting.
Draughting & Engineering Experience
From 2013 to 2020, I worked with a private engineering firm, collaborating closely with project teams on architectural, civil, and agricultural projects. My responsibilities included producing detailed and high-precision drawings for:
Residential & commercial buildings (houses, workshops)
Agricultural infrastructure (milking parlors, cow housing, special needs barns, heifer pens, silage bunkers, feed stores)
Utility layouts (water, electrical, sewer, and fire layout plans)
During this period, I primarily worked with Caddie draughting software, ensuring that all drawings met exact specifications and industry standards. My work extended beyond South Africa, contributing to projects in Botswana and Sri Lanka.

Site Management & Current Endeavors
Since 2020, I have been involved in the start-up of a new company, where I serve as both a Site Foreman and Draughtsperson, continuing my work in construction drafting and project coordination. My role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and to specification.
Currently, I am seeking new opportunities, leveraging my skills and experience to contribute to impactful construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects. In addition to my professional work, I have also ventured into entrepreneurship, operating a car wash business, which I am working hard to grow and establish.
